Unit 4: Assignment
For this Assignment, write a 4–6 page paper (not including title page or references, double
spaced) that answers the following questions (use the template provided):
The launch pad phase is where a lot of foundational work on a project is done and the lines are
drawn. In this Assignment, you will answer 4 questions:
1) Who are the stakeholders in this process, besides those that are directly involved in the
execution of it? List at least two people/groups and explain their relationship/connection
to the process. Make sure to describe what they expect from this project.
2) What are some goals for this project? In Unit 1, you described the goals for the
organization and in Unit 2 you described how the process you selected supports the
company strategies. Now, list the goals for your selected process: What is this process
intended to accomplish? What constitutes success? Be specific about both of these two
elements (definition of goals and success).
3) Based on the definitions provided by the Keen Process Worth Matrix (see table 15.2),
how would you categorize the process you selected?
4) Table 15.3 provides some risks and ways to mitigate these risks. Pick the risk that you
think is most likely to impact your selected process and describe how you would move to
mitigate it. Be specific about your actions with respect to your selected organization and
process; do not simply repeat back the suggestion by the book.
Follow this template for formatting your paper:

process/organization you selected. Writing in general terms without applying the concepts and
analyzing your specific project may get you points in the content section, but you will lose points
in the analysis section.
