The company mission is to offer ultimate fitness and a humble workout environment to all its clients with help from the dedicated and professional personal trainers. In addition, clients are guaranteed a physical environment where they can learn more about their health in line with importance of maintaining proper nutrition. Lifestyle Health and Fitness Centre offers major services such as includes personal training or massage, cardio classes such as aerobics or kick boxing, and mind/body/spirit classes such as yoga or Pilates.
2.0 What you understand the problem to be
Recently, the company has noted a decline with the number of customers seeking its services. The failing numbers of members is a major of concern to Lifestyle Health and Fitness Centre as this implies that it is losing its market share to other competitors. If this situation continues, the company will end up making low profit than expected. Customers are important to every company or organization, as they are the key determinant on the amount of profit that is going to be made. The failing numbers of members are attributed to be as result of many causes such as pricing, quality of facilities offered, customers’ relation, and qualifications of fitness instructors among others. All these areas are important, as they are responsible to be the key aspects used in marketing in order to attract more customers. Due to notably falling numbers of members the company is determined to conduct a research, which will address all the above issues in depth in order to, looks for suitable solutions, which will address them effectively. This will help the company to remain on a competitive edge, ahead of other competitors in the location.

Lifestyle Health and Fitness Centre in order to retain its market share ahead of its competitors, has proposed research objectives, which are expected to address the issue concerning falling numbers of members. First, the company wants to research on whether the training equipment’s are outdated and meets expectations of all its members. In the modern society, technological changes frequently occurs citing the need for every company to adapt them as soon as possible so as to be able to satisfy customer needs. In addition, the company would like to know the recent developed equipment in the health and fitness sector.
The company would like to know whether the price it charges customers is high as compared to that of other competitors. Pricing is also a marketing tool and therefore the company would like to know whether there is need to adjust the price or to adapt better pricing strategy. In regard to customer relation, the company would like to know how its employees relate with customers and whether they are being offered with best services that suit their needs. The company would like to certify if its employees are suitable in their work in relation to how well they understands their work and how they relate with customers. Lastly, the company would like also to know the best methods and avenues it can use for marketing its business.
